Karla Magpayo | Change Management Specialist
With over 20 years of experience helping people and businesses navigate change, Karla blends clear thinking with creative energy. Her career spans global roles in banking and financial services, where she's led teams, untangled complex problems, and helped turn big transformation plans into real-world results.
Karla's international journey began with a scholarship in Germany, which sparked her passion for international work. In 2014, she moved to the UK to pursue an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management—and never looked back. Since then, she's made her mark in the UK's banking sector, guiding change in ways that are structured yet human, thoughtful but never rigid.
While winning a university pitch competition in 2015 ignited her entrepreneurial drive, it was her own journey as an international student that gave her a clear mission. She saw how her professional expertise in guiding complex business transformations could provide a 'critical path' for students navigating a new country.
She now combines the structured thinking from her corporate career with the lived empathy of her own transition, bringing a deep belief that with the right support, change is not just manageable—it’s an opportunity for powerful growth.

Navigating a new country can be tough, especially when you're trying to kickstart your career. Stephanie dedicates her 17-year career to helping international students not just survive, but thrive in the UK. She has guided thousands through their university choices and career paths, understanding their dreams and tackling their challenges head-on.
Having been an international student herself and lived on three continents, travelled to 45 countries, and experienced the ins and outs of settling in — including living in seven different London flat shares before buying her second home — Stephanie genuinely understands the journey international graduates are on. This personal experience, combined with her professional background, gives her unique insights into the pain points international graduates face when building a life here.
As a Head of Student Recruitment and Marketing at a world top art and design university, Stephanie has spent years helping students choose the right path. But her expertise doesn't stop there. She's also a property investor and mentor, which means she brings a well-rounded perspective to the table, beyond just academics and careers.
Stephanie is here to help bridge the gap between international qualifications and meaningful career opportunities in the UK. She'll work with you to turn academic achievements into professional success and make the UK feel like home.
